Like the regular range, the Avante Sport gets a re-skinned body – this time wearing more sporting equipment inside and out.
Headlining features include a black sports mesh front grille, larger brakes nestled behind new 18-inch alloy wheels, a subtle body kit, chromed twin exhaust finisher, multi-link rear suspension, carbon-fibre-look interior trim, sports seats available in black or red leather, and a flat-bottom perforated leather sports steering wheel.
The new Elantra Sport is due in North America shortly, with pricing to kick off at US$22,400 ($31,037) with a six-speed manual transmission.
