Over the years Castle Lite has been known for bringing to the country top international acts as part of its Caste Lite Unlocks campaign – having in the past, brought big acts such as Drake, in 2011 for an All White, Kanye West in 2013 for a private concert to 6000 super excited fans and JCole in 2016 respectively.
This year, it will be no different as Castle Lite Unlocks experience is back with a bang. This year the alcohol maker announced it will be bringing to the country, Post Malone, who is currently one of the hottest acts. Post Malone’s album Beerbongs and Bentleys topped US, UK and various worldwide charts. The rapper, who was once seen as an unconventional artist in his genre, broke down barriers in order to become a household name.
Castle Lite announced Post Malone will be performing at The Dome in Johannesburg for one night only, he will be supported by local acts, Cassper Nyovest and Sway Calloway. The concert will be held on the 18th of June. Tickets went on sale from today afternoon, Thursday 4 April 2019 via WebTicket following the announcement yesterday.
However some fans weren’t too excited at the news of the 24 year old being announced as the next act, as they had been secretly hoping that Castle Lite would bring over singer Frank Ocean. We hope that they have taken note and are working on unlocking Frank Ocean next.
