It seems like Jub Jub might still be more than alive with his game in the music industry.

According to an insider working for Mabala Noise, the ex-con artist was interested in penning a deal with the music stable to revive his career.

“We received a number of phone calls from people telling us that Jub Jub wanted to meet with Mabala Noise but we have yet to finalise arrangements for a meeting. We are hoping to meet with Jub Jub but are now waiting on him,” the source said.

Looking at his profile before serving jail time on homicide charges, Jub Jub had released several singles that were highly ranked and well received, positioning him as a hip-hop, gospel and afro soul rapper and singer.

Although the source working for the stable might have revealed otherwise, Mabala Noise spokesperson Mhlo Gumede denied any claims of the rapper speaking to the label about possibly signing with them and that any rumour of them signing the rapper are false.

Jub Jub was recently released from prison after serving four years of his eight-year sentence. He collaborated with Tshepo Tshola on a song titled Ke Kopa Tshwarelo, in which he asks for forgiveness.

The track has received quite a positive feedback, garning over 350,000 views on Youtube.
