The Feather awards list of nominees went out last week for the annual event which aims to celebrate and fight homophobia and discrimination against the LGBTQI community, however as soon as the list was released the community was in uproar over some of the not so suitable nominees.
One such problem nominee was Cassper Nyovest’s trainer, Tumi Seeco. While he has managed to transform his client, Cassper’s look, it seems he has managed to distance himself from the gay community through a reckless twitter post he made in the past. Following the release of the nominees list, a homophobic tweet was uncovered from the hunky personal trainer.
The organizers of the event had no choice but to subsequently remove his name from the nominees list, this followed a social media storm that started as a result of his nomination. The event organisers responded with a statement which read in part “As an event dedicated to fighting homophobia and discrimination against sexual minorities, the Feather Awards has a zero tolerance attitude to such prejudices. Tumi Seeco’s nomination is withdrawn with immediate effect.”
However Tumi’s withdrawal from the hunk of the year category made way for another “hunkier” and more deserving guy. Advocate Dominic Khumalo, dubbed ANC bae, was then nominated to take up the
place left by Tumi’s withdrawal. Take a look at some of his pics taken from his Instagram page, do you think he makes for a worthy nominee? Because we certainly think so.

Our revolution is not a public-speaking tournament. Our revolution is not a battle of fine phrases. Our revolution is, and should continue to be, the collective effort of revolutionaries to transform reality, to improve the concrete situation of the masses of our country. President TS
