There was mild panic and confusion as two different posters emerged of Mlindo the Vocalist performance for this coming Saturday. Earlier in the week, Donald released a poster of his ten years of Donald performance taking place this weekend in Sun City and one of his top line acts was billed to be Mlindo the Vocalist, alongside Donald and other artists namely, Prince KayBee, Mobi Dixion, Phindy Dube, Big Soul, DJ Tronix and Fantasy the DJ.
However, Mlindo the Vocalist was also booked for another show on the same evening in another country. Mlindo was also headlined to perform in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
The Macala hit maker has since cleared the air and assured the expectant Bulawayo fans that he will dance with them on Saturday in a less than one-minute video which he put out on Instagram.
“I want to clarify that I can’t wait to be with you in Zimbabwe on Saturday, I am not going to Sun City. It’s just to clarify everything,” said Mlindo in the video. (Watch video here)
The high riding singer shared the show poster on his Instagram, much to the delight of his fans in Zimbabwe, captioned… “Am so excited, this weekend for the first time I’ll be performing in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Can’t wait to see y’all,”
Promoter Mduduzi Mdlongwa who is responsible for bringing Mlindo to Zimbabwe for his debut gig, assured fans that the show will go on as planned.
