Popular “It girl”, television presenter and actress Boity Thulo told her followers how she escaped a near fatal smash and grab on Wednesday evening in Melville, Johannesburg. The television presenter shared on twitter to her over 804k followers how the would be criminal just appeared out of nowhere and banged hard on her car window in an attempt to shatter it. She tweeted the following:  

“Dude appeared out of God knows where, banged very hard on my window about 3 times and I just put my foot on the accelerator. FML!!”

She says the event shook her and that had she not been instinctive enough to step on the accelerator while he was banging on her window, who knows what could have happened.

Entertainment SA is glad that she had the nerve and smarts to drive off and prevent any further incident that could have happened.
