Robert ‘Madluphuthu’ Marawa found himself in hot oil with radio Metro’s listeners once again.

Marawa was summoned to a meeting by the station’s operational management committee. This is after Marawa was called to order and reprimanded by his bosses for bringing Metro Fm into disrepute.

It turns out even sport Minister Fikile Mbalula, had a written letter of complaint to the Broadcast Complaints  Commission of South Africa, about how guests on Marawa’s show had attacked him and called him a liar on air.

It is understood that the body ruled against Metro FM and Marawa was forced to apologize to Mbalula on air for attacking him in his absence.

Other concerns raised by management at the meeting were that Marawa used his show to attack people he had issues with during the show.

But SABC’s chief operating officer  Hlaudi Motsoeneng, allegedly came to Marawa’s rescue.

He allegedly called Metro Fm’s managers to order saying people were jealous of Marawa. He also accused them of entertaining office gossip.

Entertainment SA wishes ‘Madluphuthu’ luck with his hearing and hope people will stop being ‘jealous’ of him.
