A shocking update to the unfortunate Vusi Nova hijacking ordeal has left South Africans questioning the police department’s role in the country.
As we all know, Vusi Nova and an unnamed band mate earlier hijacked and kidnapped, resulting in Nova being brutally beaten and stripped before later being abandoned in Soweto.
Speaking to journalist, Kyle Zeeman, Nova’s manager Lance Stehr confirmed that the other musician was discovered first in Riverlea with an ear partially cut off and Nova was found later after police had been alerted to his whereabouts.
“He is pissed off and giving a statement to police at the moment,” said Stehr.
Nova has since officially given a statement to police and investigations into the crimes are underway. The hijackers got away with his white Range Rover and an undisclosed amount of personal items.
