The Kaya FM breakfast show host is accused of impregnating a woman and trying to buy her into aborting the baby. But according to the veteran DJ, who got engaged to Eucharist Hadebe (36), this is not the first time his name has been dragged through the mud.

This week Bob rubbished the allegations: “Every time I announce that I’m going to get married, women claim such things.

Previously, there was a girl from Ntuzuma. “Her parents wrote me a letter after I announced I was getting married. I’m not bothered at all and won’t entertain such rumours. The woman who sparked the sex allegations is Hlengi Mthethwa.

She took to social networks to express her anger about Bob’s so-called efforts to convince her to abort their alleged unborn child. Hlengi claimed she and Bob had been having unprotected sex on several occasions and that she ended up falling pregnant with his child.

She claims that after falling pregnant, Bob has been trying to convince her to get an abortion.

But his alleged actions made her angry and she vented on Twitter and copied Bob’s colleagues at the station, including his boss Greg Maloka.

Hlengi said on twitter: “Tell me who gets a woman pregnant, and then ask if she’d rather have cash to terminate the child? This so-called responsible dad, Bob Mabena, impregnates women, then asks them to terminate.

“It’s about time the men who still don’t take responsibility for their actions are named and shamed,” she continued.  “I’m so disgusted by Bob. This behaviour is so barbaric,” she claimed.

But sources close to Bob suspect that a former acquaintance is behind a campaign to trash his name.
