Nonhle Thema, decides to finally leave Club808 at the end of this month which we think is about time.
From having her own show to Club 808 was a step down, let’s be honest.
After one year on Club808, Nonhle Thema bids the show farewell. This comes on after the announcement that DJ Mo Flava will be leaving Club808. Nonhle and Mo Flava’s last show will be on Friday, 27 February.
About working on the show, Nonhle said: “It’s been a great experience working on Club808. I have enjoyed working with Mo Flava, the Red Pepper crew and e.tv. I received a great welcome from e.tv and we have formed a very strong relationship which goes beyond Club808. I have learnt a lot, however, it is time to focus on my other projects.
TV presenter Nonhle says she feels too old for the music show and would rather focus on mature things like acting.
ETV says “We are now appealing to a younger market. Content of the show will not change.”
All nice words, of course you can’t wash dirty linen in public, if any. Does anyone still watch that show?
