Kim Kardashian's struggle to get pregnant might be over

The UK's Daily Mail has reported that the reality TV star's mother, Kris Jenner, might have found a solution, which she disclosed during the latest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

The 59-year-old Jenner is quoted as saying: "Kourtney would probably do it" when talk of surrogacy popped up. Doctors reportedly told Kanye West's wife, who already has a daughter, North, by the rapper, that they could not guarantee that she would be able to carry a second baby to term.

She has undergone a procedure to remove bits of placenta stuck to her uterus since she bore North.

A morose Kim told sister Kendall Jenner and BFF Jonathan Cheban during the episode: "I complained so much about how I hated being pregnant and I never thought I would be begging to be pregnant.

"Trying for baby No2 is not fun like baby No1 was. I'm like [to West] 'I'm ovulating in five minutes, get over here'.

"It's crazy because I had such an easy delivery, but right after you deliver the baby you give birth to the placenta and it just kind of comes out. [But] mine went right back in because it was stuck to a part of my uterus that it grew into.

"The doctor put his arm in me up to here. He had to scrape it off with his fingernails to get it off of my inner lining."

When Kendall asked about surrogacy, the 34-year-old Kim told of her fears of trusting "a lunatic", saying she would consider that option only "if I couldn't carry another one [baby]".

According to People magazine, the episode ended with a "To Be Continued ." title card as she was wheeled into the operating theatre.  Kardashian, who gave birth in June 2013, also featured the birth of her daughter on an episode of their reality show in October that year.

She told Ellen de Generes last year: "It's all worth it in the end, so I would definitely suffer through that [childbirth], but pregnancy was not a good experience for me … at all."
