Amongst the very happy and the most gifted cast members of The Road the award-winning actor, Themba Ndaba, who was quoted saying
“The Road is a storyline that will capture the South African viewers in a way that has never happened before. It’s a story that’s going break people’s hearts, two different stories going side by side that’s just going to make people glued to their TV’s. The award winning actor play a role of a hard-nosed, Chief Financial Officer of a production company, who doesn’t take any nonsense. He is all about Rands and cents and if that doesn’t makes cents he cuts it out. He’s actually a very mean man who is very greedy. Ndaba also explains on how The Road differs from other telenovelas we’ve watched on Mzansi Magic”..
One of the actress Tembisa Mdoda who is also a part of The Road was also quoted “She delightedly spoke of her experience with her fellow cast members. Oh My Gosh! It's been so amazing, we've been working for two months and this is the first production to ever do something like this – to have two shows within one storyline and at the same time. The cast is big but it's amazing, we're like a huge family, we laugh all the time and the best thing of it all we have so much respect for each other so we get the work done nicely. I also think that Bomb Productions is doing something absolutely phenomenal especially for artists in this country. This is something we can own and can say that we were the first to do it. She concludes that she is so excited for people to finally see it."
