In South Africa’s nominees for EMA, this year we have AKA, Nigerian Nomi Yemi Alade and Davido and Tanzania represented by Diamond Platnumz – but there’s still one spot open! So MTV is giving music fans across the nation the power to tweet and vote for one more ‘wildcard’ nominee in the category.
Voting is open until September 14 at 11:59pm.
Fans are given a chance to tweet and vote for the following artists to be one of the Best African Act nominee using #MTVEMA and the artist’s hashtag:

DJ Arafat – #NominateDJArafat
Wildcard winners and nominees in all 2015 MTV EMA groupings will be broadcasted on September 15 at 1pm and voting will open on mtvema.com.
The 2015 MTV EMAs will broadcast LIVE on MTV (DStv channel 130) and MTV Base (DStv channel 322) on October 25 at 10pm from the Mediolanum Forum in Milan.
