    Major Leagues failed Festival

The major League festival took place at the Innesfree Park in Sandton recently, has been reported to be the worst festival ever by fans who attend it.

Most social media platform like twitter and facebook were floaded with criticism aimed towards the organisers Banele and Bandile Mbere, better known as DJs Major League for failing insure that fans are satisfied with what they’ve paid for.

For such a hyped up festival the sound quality was bad, alleged car thefts, poor security, an early cut-off time by the metro police, electricity cuts and promised acts Mafikizolo and Uhuru didnt even make it on stage to perfom..

its alleged that 49 cars were stolen at the event according fans who attended the event, but Bandile said the cars were towed for parking unlawfully,

Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela also backed up Bandile’s claim by confirmation that no cars were reported stolen, but Joburg Metro Police spokesman Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said 50 cars were towed for blocking traffic.

Bandile disclosed that they did not hire security but said they asked the SAPS and Metro cops to assist them.

When confronted why the event ended at 10pm and not at midnight as promised, he said people were notified that the show would end at 10pm. Bandile said there were electricity issues because the sound was connected to a generator and a tattoo parlour next door was also connected to it.

He also went on to say Mafikizolo were double booked and had to attend an event in Rwanda, which they apologised for.

They say, “Save the best for last” but this time fans didn’t get a chance to see Uhuru performing because time ran out,

Entertainment SA learned from a source that only the fans who attended the after party at Taboo were lucky to see Uhuru performance.
