Legendary actress Sophie Ndaba has confirmed that she will bounce back to the small screen early next year.
Entertainment SA’s gossip reporters have learned that Ndaba, who is best known as Queen Moroka in the soapie Generations, was amongst the 16 other soapie cast members who were given the boot at the end of last year after they were axed for participating in an illegal strike demanding better salaries.
In an interview with MOVE magazine, as reported by CHANEL24, the 43-year-old Ndaba said: ‘’I’m very excited about two projects that should be on screen next year. I have a prominent role in one. If you loved Queen, you’ll love her, but I really can’t say much more about it.’’
‘’Some of us women who have been working with the SABC for a long time, have had support of the SABC in producing some content for them,’’ she said.
Ndaba has been off our screens since her last exit from Generations over a year ago.
