ENTERTAINMENT SA is proud to announce that South Africa's very own 34-year-old award winning versatile actress and producer, Terry Pheto, will be attending the prestigious International Emmy's ceremony taking place from the 21 – 23 November in New York as a juror.
The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF), which will be representing the South African Film and Television industry, was granted the privilege to host judging sessions. A number of local film industry members' profiles were then submitted by the NFVF and later approved by the International Emmy's.
Pheto got selected as a juror based on the career paths she has embarked on in recent years, as well as the huge impact and contribution she has made to the South African film and television industry.
"I am honored to be a part of the juror’s panel for the International Emmys and an grateful to the NFVF for this opportunity to represent my country in the arts," said Pheto.
2015 has certainly been a colorful year for Pheto especially with her appearing on the American soapie, The Bold and The Beautiful. In addition to to her achievements, Pheto's film Ayanda is currently being screened in various cities across the United States after she scored a distribution deal with Selma director, Ava Duvernay's company Array.
