It’s about time those who always weep when people sing ‘’waar was jy’’ (where were you) and start producing their own ‘’Ek was daar’’ (I was there) because DJ black Coffee is on a mission to leave mouths open with his concert on Saturday, 12 December.
This year, Black Coffee has proven to us that he is not only masterful, but also Legendary in South African and International music by receiving two awards at the International DJ awards in Ibiza (Best Breakthrough DJ and Dance Nation), not to mention that his album Pieces of Me went platinum and his track Dance Again has dominated local airwaves and online video servers.
To tell you something entertaining, he has now formed an incredible lineup of SA’s best talent, or should we call it our pride, for 12 hours of inevitable urban and house music at Mary Fitzgerald sqr, in JHB.
The first round of artist is DJ Tira aka Tira Khathi who happens to be the owner Durban based independent record label ‘Afrotainment’, acclaimed producer and performer. Having formed his own successful brand of popular events, Fact Durban Rock he surely knows how to create an electrifying party atmosphere.
Still in the same lineup, and from the same above mentioned record label, not forgetting having collaborated on many tracks with DJ Tira, famous kwaito group BIG NUZ will take to the main stage. All Originating from Durban, this beloved trio will amplify adrenaline pump in fans with hits like Hawaii and Inazo.
Added to this entertainment lineup is winner of DJ of the year for 2013 and 2014, founder of popping bottles and Landmynz Entertainment DJ Dimples, DJ Kenzhero who will effortlessly mix hip-hop, soul, funk and Jazz.
