House and Dance music musketeer DJ Shimza has serious issues with his boss Black Coffee and his record label, Soulistic Music.
According to a source, a music official close to the record label Soulistic Music, owned by Disc guru DJ Black Coffee, claimed that DJ Simza walked away because he felt his debut album was not given full attention nor support when it came to marketing.
Shimza, according to the report, accused Black Coffee for playing dirty.
‘’Black Coffee, as my boss, has never mentioned my album, including when it was released ,’’ Shimza told the Sunday paper.
This sounds a bit confusing since Coffee’s latest release went sky-rocket in a very short period of time.
Shimza carries on and says: ‘’I feel he should at least done that, then my album wouldn’t be sitting at 8,500 copies sold since June.
I’ve been pushing my album alone from day one, and really don’t want to point fingers at anyone.’’
According to the officials, Black Coffee sees Shimza as a direct threat and signed him in order to frustrate his career, a very clean way of eliminating a threat.
Black coffee did not respond to questions sent to him by the paper. Guess the quote ‘’If you can’t beat them, join them’’ changes from today to ‘’If you can’t beat them, kill them.’’
We at Entertainment SA hope the two Djs can sort out their current issues so that they can continue giving the good music
