Gareth Cliff plan to sue M-Net for unfair dismissal

Our Gossip and News team at Entertainment SA thought former Idols judge, Gareth has made peace with being fired from M-net after he posted a tweet that people who made racist comments could not be illegally accused as it would be considered freedom of speech.

However it seems as Cliff won’t go down without a fight since he believes that his statement was not racist, but was said at the wrong time.

According to reports, Gareth’s lawyer Eric Mabuza thinks his client was wrongfully dismissed and for that he plans to sue M-net for R25 million

The Idols judge also plans to sue network for defamation after he was called a racist.

Eric statement said, “We’ve written a letter to M-Net demanding that he be reinstated, and if they don’t do that he intends to stop the auditions which are starting on 29 January. He also wants to clear his name and is looking to claim for damages.”
