The comedian didn’t even think of his own life when he decided to jump into a burning car to save the driver who was stuck.

Apparently a vehicle slipped on a wet road, hit a drain and flipped upside down in front of Jamie’s gate in normally sleepy Hidden Valley… northeast of L.A.

Jamie told cops how he unbuckled the man and pulled him out of the car at about 30 feet away from the accident.  He then called 911 before his heroics, cops and firefighters finally got there and transported the victim to a hospital with major injuries, including burns.
