The 49 year old singer has opened up about being sexually abused when he was 7 years old until he was around 14 years old.

He has also confirmed that it was a female relative who molested him.

R. Kellly was found not guilty on all 14 counts during his child pornography trial in 2008.

He said: I will definitely forgive them. As I’m older, I look at it and I know that it had to be not just about me and them.

R.Kelly says just like poverty was a generational curse in his family and he decided to brake it by making sure that he does not become poor. He will also make sure that he breaks the sexual abuse curse as well.

Entertainment SA applauds the singer for taking such a bold step in coming forward to share his story as a lot of young people look up to him.
