There was mixed reviews for the newest OPW presenter Tembisa Mdoda, with some viewers gushing over her “awesome” presenting skills and the other half still not entirely convinced that she’s “the one”.

However, the skilled and multi-talented actress couldn’t have anticipated her debut on the hotly watched show was going to be marred by a Sunday paper report calling into question the paternity of her twins’ father. Atandwa Kani, the presenter’s ex hubby, allegedly revealed to the paper that he isn’t their children’s father.

With those reports weighing over her, she somehow still managed to capture the shows audience, with many people defending her and asking for the “twitteratti” to judge her solely on her presenting skills and not on the alleged paternity results of her children.

The presenter sure has big shoes to fill as she takes over from multi-talented comedienne, actress and presenter, Tumi Morake, who was recalled to the show after previous host Aya Mpama skills were called into question by the viewers and led to her being released a lot sooner from her contract with the show.

However it seems that she is going to be alright as the twitter followers have accepted are seemingly happy with her. We hope that lasts for a while.
