Atandwa Kani has been through a lot the past couple of months.

The actor who has been previously involved with Thembisa Mdoda and was made to believe that he fathered her twins, explained to Drum magazine: "I have been through quite a lot, which means my family has been too. From being cheated on, thrust onto tabloid front pages, the deceit, being robbed and lied to and all of a sudden I lose a family."  

According to reports, Atandwa found out during their separation with Thembisa that he was not the biological father of the twins.

Kani who is now married to Fikile Mthwalo and looks very happy, explained that he was never married to Thembisa. "Not traditionally nor in a Western wedding. This is the first time I have said vows and the words 'I do'." 

He revealed that he looks forward to the day that his wife blesses him with his "very own" children. 

The actor is really in love, he can’t stop gushing about his wife. "Fikile Mthwalo-Kani is a blessing, a gift from God, my inspiration, my heart, my soulmate, my best friend and I am her co-pilot, her fan, her supporter. Life is bliss right now."
