We are not sure as to whether it’s the cadence, or the high level of testosterone deepening his voice, but Morgan Freeman’s voice is the perfect combo for comfort and command. For quite a while now, the Internet has wanted the Academy Award winner to narrate our day-to-day routines but knew that would be too much to ask for, so rather settle on GPS navigation knowing that in the back of our minds, it would be a distant dream that is against all odds of coming true.
Until recently.
It’s just been learned that the Shawshank Redemption actor is teaming up with Google’s free navigation app ‘’Waze’’, which means now Freeman can direct us to the nearest Starbucks, or that Club 808 not to mention how to get home in the morning after a hectic night that resulted in you going past third base with that musician guy.
Now, Freeman isn’t just lending his voice to Google for free, he will also receive a big fat cheque for it, but this is all in the name of promotion for his forthcoming film ‘’London Has Fallen’’ (the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen) for the app, Freeman plays the Vice President and speaks to you, the driver as if you’re the president. Now, doesn’t that tickle your entertainment bone?
It does for EntertainmentSA, we’re so over the moon for Freeman helping us direct our steps or wheels, even if it’s just going next door.
