Dawn Thandeka King, who plays Mangcobo in the popular SABC 1 telenovela is busy recording her first single in studio.

Dust Nkos, who is a Durban based producer will produce and record her song. ‘Mangcobo’ not only acts but she is also a ballroom dancer and practices as a sangoma.

Her sound is Afro-Soul with a strong traditional feel to it.

According to her : performing music is a special calling. I’m a spiritual being who is always guided by an ancestral calling in everything I do, said Mangcobo.

Dawn’s single will be out in a few weeks time and we at Entertainment SA cannot wait to hear it.
