Kwaito group Big Nuz member Danger, real name Mzi Tshomela was stabbed in the head, allegedly by a Lindo "Dogg" Buthelezi – advertising freelancer working for DJ Bongz’s recording label, after an argument
Danger was admitted to a Durban private hospital where he is set to undergo an emergency operation.
It hasn’t been a year since the Durban group lost R Masheleni and they nearly lost another member.
DJ Bongz confirmed the fight and told drum magazine on Tuesday that he went to see Danger in hospital but “we couldn’t talk because he was still sedated.”
According to sources, the fight broke out when Danger questioned why a house DJ won a kwaito award, referring to DJ Bongz who won the trophy at the Metro FM Music Awards hosted on Saturday in Durban. That annoyed Dogg and he hit Danger with a bottle of wine in the face.
DJ Bongz said the fight had nothing to do with Afrotainment or his record label. DJ Tira was not available for comment.
