It seems that things are not looking so rosy for local R&B muso Donald Moatshe, since he parted ways with his manager Tshediso Leanya, it seems since his departure, Donald’s gigs have sunk.
The manager allegedly left Donald to start his own company.
Insiders close to the situation said Tshediso left the award-winning artist because he could no longer take Donald’s diva tendencies and pride.
“Tshediso was pissed off and now the person who’s suffering is Donald. He’s always at home. Gigs don’t come often and this situation is killing him. We’re wondering if he’ll swallow his pride and go back to Tshediso,” said a source.
Another source said: “Donald feels the world is against him", while another another one said, the only person left that still cares about Donald's career is Percy Vilakazi.
Donald confirmed he parted ways with Tshediso he further added “He’s not my manager any more. He used to work with me on individual projects. Percy’s good and has always been there. The difference is we’re working together full-time now.”
It seems that his ex-manager, Tshediso, isnt' the only one who found the singer's diva tendencies a little too much to handle as there have been reports from people within the industry and artists who have had problems with Donald's hangups and diva ways. Entertainment-SA can only hope that Donald cleans his ways before he loses any more gigs and friends within the industry.
