When we saw rumours surfacing on social media about Nathi Mankayi, we decided to entertain them because rumour-inflicted gossip has no happy ending, not a jot.

If Nathi Mankayi was broke, our EntertainmentSA team would not have made the shocking discovery of the Nomvula Hitmaker getting himself a classy new ride.  Yes, a brand new Merc which he reportedly paid for it cash! 0% credit.

In an interview conducted by drum magazine, Nathi's manager emphasized that Nathi buying a second car was merely out of his own choice and benefit, not to prove a ‘’useless’’ point.

"It's a brand new car as you can see, it cost plenty but Nathi paid for it in cash," Nathi's manager, Sipho Nyathela said.

Nathi added, "I didn't buy this car to prove a point to anyone. For me, it's all about pushing my music career and being able to support my family."

It is estimated that Nathi’s hot new wheels range from R400k up to R700k, wow!

If being broke means having that amount of money lying around, then we guess 62% of South Africans are rich.
