A thundering ovation was what our gossip team could do after Clash of the Choirs crowned its new and outstanding winners. From the peaceful plains of Mpumalanga, Team JR came, saw, and took home the prize on Sunday night!

Restless fans of Team JR and Team Kelly were at their finest nail biting sessions since last week when it was announced that both parties were selected for the finals.

In the previous weeks, judges mentioned how beautiful it would’ve been to see a female take the crown this year, but this sparked some feminism attacks as most viewers thought the judges were being biased towards Team Kelly.

By grace and by vote, the judges' wish couldn’t be granted as Team JR's supporters voted enthusiastically to ensure that his choir took not only the title, but also the R1, 250,000 cash prize home.

What interests us the most is the fact that Team JR were the only team who were not in the bottom two for the whole season, that’s is why they say ‘’hard work pays off.’’
