It’s sad news that Connie Ferguson will be leaving the iconic TV Drama series Generations. It was announced on Wednesday that the actress who plays the iconic Karabo Moroka on the soap Generations – The Legacy, will be leaving the show.
In a statement released by the show’s publicity manager Gaaratwe Mokhethi, it has been advised that Connie will be moving on to focus on her other ventures.
"It is with great disappointment that we have to announce the departure of the much-loved Karabo Moroka, played by the talented Connie Ferguson. She’s working on a couple of projects that need her un divided attention and has asked to be released from her contract."
Connie’s Karabo Character will still be on screen for a few more months as her exit scenes haven’t been shot as yet, says Gaaratwe.
Mfundi Vundla also shared that Connie was an important figure in the construction of the Generations: The Legacy. "I will be eternally grateful for that and her contribution to the growth of the industry," he expressed his gratitude in a statement.
This is sad, primetime, will no longer be the same.
