Divorce is considered a blasphemous act by many… it tarnishes reputations and scars children in the process… but Drew Barrymore has a way of overcoming all of that through advice, unbelievable.
During her first interview after announcing her split with husband Will Kopelman, the 41-year-old shared a mouthful about her two daughters and the advice she has been taking as therapy and she said:
"I had a really hard time a couple of months ago and kind of knew life was heading in a new direction," the Charlie's Angels star told PopSugar. "I called someone that I really trust, respect, and believe in, because he has always been the conductor of grace. I said, 'What's your advice?' And he said, 'You put one foot in front of the other.'"
Strictly keeping the name of her friend anonymous, she added, "It's just great advice. It's a kind of way in which to live, and I want to be like him. I want to be like that. I want to put one foot in front of the other."
The couple, who happen to have two beautiful daughters, Olive 3, and Frankie, 23 months, have been together for almost four years before deciding to go their separate ways last week.
"The only thing I care about, my life's mission and the only thing that matters as of now is that my daughters know what our lives were like, how we lived, and how much I love them," Drew shared. "For them to know that they were not just loved, but, like, ridiculously, utterly, life- alteringly loved. That's the only reason I'm here now!"
That’s very big of her, SA’s number gossip portal wishes her all the best during these difficult times… stay strong.
