Isibaya adds a new family to rival family the Zungus

If you thought that the drama at Bhubhesini was over because the Zungu’s had finally vanquished their enemies, the Ndlovus and the chief, Bhekifa. You’re mistaken as the daily soapie is adding in another rival family to ruffle the Zungu’s feathers’.

The newcomers are the Ngwenya family who arrive at Bhubhesini from Kwa Mashu, the family is spearheaded by the powerful patriarch, Judas Ngwenya, who is played by Menzi Ngubane.

This is what we know so far about the family from a statement released by TVSA:

“Judas is rich and powerful and he's worked hard to achieve what he has. He built his taxi empire from nothing and now he's moving into the valley to set up an alliance with Samson Ndlovu.

A vicious taxi strike is going to push Samson straight into Judas's embrace which is going to have a dramatic impact on the Zungus.

Judas arrives with his glamorous wife Beauty Ngwenya at his side, played by Thuli Thabethe (City Ses'la, iNkaba, The Mayor). She's a Joziburg township girl who has proven to be an astute head in the taxi business and her husband’s investments. She is forthright and knows how to use all her ‘assets’ and most importantly – Judas adores her and she adores him.

They have two children who arrive with them: a violent but respectful son Qaphela (played by Abdul Khoza) and a free-spirited daughter Ntombizama (Linda Mtoba) – the apple of her father’s eye.”

With all this alliances forming against the Zungu family we wonder if they will be able to withstand the heat and will they be able to hold onto their power and their turf (taxi routes)?

We would like to see how all this pans out and will sure be glued on to our screens for the drama and action that will be unfolding as it promises to be hot.
