Lalla Hirayama has landed herself a sweet gig as the new face of M-Net movies. Like us, you might be wondering what this means or what this job entails.
It simply means that she will be jetting off to lands far and wide to interview A-list movie actors, catch them as they walk the red carpet and bring the viewers of M-Net exclusive footage of all their favourite box office movies as well as some pretty unusual behind the scenes exclusives.
“We know that our viewers are a little obsessed with movies,” says M-Net Movies Head of Marketing, Justin Jacobie.
“With her dynamo personality and charming demeanour Lalla is the ideal person to represent M-Net Movies and all our movie fans at these events and bring us closer to all the stars and celebrities that we are all dying to meet.”
Lallaland as the show will be known, will be screened across all nine M-Net movie channels, as “mini-sodes” and as well as in a dedicated slot on M-Net Movies Premiere, every Sundays before the Sunday night 20:30 movie blockbuster.
Not one to waste time, Lalla has already started interviewing actors, having just finished the filming of a candid chat with the stars of Batman vs Superman Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck.
