While most of us will be lucky to even get a shout from a community newspaper let alone a national magazine, other people are getting international props and recognition from very influential people.

Local designer, Laduma Ngxokolo has received perhaps the biggest shout out you can get from a very heavy influencer. The local designer who is known for his textiles and men’s knitwear is currently showcasing his talent at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City and it just so happens that this past weekend Beyoncé, hubby Jay-Z and their little daughter, Blue Ivy, visited the exhibition and she liked what she saw during her trip and as a result has shared the stunning pictures of the designer’s work on her Beyoncé website.

We all know that whatever Queen B touches turns into gold and we’re super excited that the young designer has gotten such a sterling endorsement from the singer. Here’s to the beginning of big things for the young talent.
