Move over Hollywood, it seems like South African stories are taking centre stage as more and more stories are told and more and more people are having an interest in them.

A potential movie deal is being discussed with none other than muso Nathi Mankayi. It will chronicle his life story as well as cover his remarkable journey from being prisoner to his long road of becoming a hit maker.

Speaking to The Juice recently, Nathi had this to say:

“I am working on a film on my journey till now,” he told us as part of a chat about his future plans.

“I’m also planning to travel to Holland, Switzerland and Zambia for performances in the next few months,” he adds.

Though no other information was shared on the movie such as when it will be shot and who will be playing the lead role, we're sure that it will be just as hot as the stars Nomvula hit. The muso has also hinted that the movie isn't going to be the only screen project he will be working on, as he will be shooting a live performance DVD soon.

Now Hollywood should erase the memory of ‘’Beauty and the brains’’ because Nathi is their next ‘’Soulistic and the brains.’’
