Former Generations actor and local muso, Anga Makubalo’s career has just reached new heights, the star has just landed himself an interesting role in one of SABC’s giant soapies, Isidingo.
Isidingo’s executives have finally decided to follow the soapie’s mandate by connecting with its mining roots. This means that we’ll be seeing more of mine-shafts and experiencing just how Horizon Deep miners live on a day to day basis, how entertaining can that be?
Anga will cast as Obakeng ‘’Mlahlwa’’ Bhengu, a new kid on the block whom upon arrival in Horizon Deep, scores a job on Sibeko Gold's Ultra Deep mine as a rock driller. He is a dark horse, even to himself, who has deep roots in the town but knows nought about them.
