Not long ago, E-SA published an article on AKA reaching over a million followers on Twitter, little did we know that among the fans, is a proud Minister Nathi Mthethwa.
On Wednesday, Minister of Arts and Culture, Nathi Mthethwa, took to social media to congratulate AKA on “making Africa proud” after the star got nominated for a BET (Best International Act.)
“#AfricaDay2016 @akaworldwide I’m pleased to congratulate you on your BET award nomination. Well done. Keep making Africa proud,’’ posted a proud minister.
Well it seems like it might take more than being on the wrong side of the EFF and DA to take AKA’s fan-base down… it’s amazing that he still has friends in parliament even after cancelling his performances for the above mentioned parties.
