Last year feels like yesterday as we reminisce about the successful Cassper Nyovest’s #FillUpTheDome campaign. The campaign was so successful to an extent that not only did it raise his bank balance, but his hopes and goals to a higher level as well.
In an interview with Slikour, Cassper coughed out about the one obstacle standing in his way to initiate his next plan of action – filling up Orlando Stadium.
“Right now I’m doing Orlando Stadium, you will not believe that I’m struggling to get sponsorships still. And I’m like ‘yo, I did this with my own money last year’.”
In the interview, the rapper reveals how he used R3.2 million from his own account to fund the #fillUpTheDome campaign. “I lost like 3.2 million rand of my own money doing this, to show brands, like, this is what we can do. This year it should have been like, oh we saw your vision.”
Since the stakes have raised to 40 000 seats, Cassper needs a whopping R25 million to complete his quest of filling up Orlando Stadium.
“I’m looking for R25 million cause I’m trying to do this crazy thing,” he appealed to sponsors.
“If you’re watching this and you know an investor or you are an investor I need 25. You can come with 5 it’s fine, it will help us.”
Our gossip team wishes Cassper all the luck he needs to complete this quest… we wish you all the best… #FillUpOrlandoStadium.
