Denis Suarez’s outstanding performance against Real Sociedad has given Barcelona a boost into the King Cup’s Semi-finals.
Thanks to former Manchester City trainee, Denis Suaraz, who gave a commanding lead in the tie following last week's 1-0 win in the first leg by scoring the opener in the 17th minute, while Messi practically ended the contest by converting a penalty early in the second half after Neymar was fouled.
With a triumphant 6-2 win against their opponent, Barcelona has proven to be a perfect candidate for the upcoming King Cup Semis.
Real Sociedad needed at least three goals to shake Barca, but unfortunately, they managed two because every time they went forward they left themselves exposed, and Barca took full advantage.
"We started the game by dominating and once it was 1-0 they left us plenty of space and everything is easier when you have the three forwards we have," Denis Suarez told reporters after a fifth consecutive win in all competitions for the Catalans.
"We weren't nervous at all, we just wanted to dominate the game and continue on this great run that we're on."
It is without a doubt that Barcelona is one of the most powerful and most dominating team this generation could ever have, congratulations Barca.
