10 years ago this dynamic duo were worth their weight in the fiercely competitive local music scene. Brickz was the performer with the most, signed to The Wheels of Steel sable, which was run by his mentor and producer, DJ Cleo an eye for beats. However the pair had a fallout which broke them up and resulted in the two vowing to never speak to each other let alone work together ever again.
Even though Brickz did try moving on and released tracks on his own, they weren’t quite the same without the DJ Cleo touch. It seems like the two have subsequently made up and are back on speaking terms and even have a project in the pipeline that they’re working on together.
DJ Cleo posted an Instagram video of Brickz and him jamming in studio, even though the video had no sound it showed the pair looking mightily excited at whatever they were listening to. Our guess is that the pair have cooked up an awesome track and we can’t wait for them to release it.
DJ Cleo please create magic and bring back that Brickz of Sweety Mababy, that people used to love.
