On Wednesday, June 21, The Weeknd shared one of the photos from Selena Gomez’s recent Coach campaign on his Insta-story, decorating the pic with five diamond emojis.
Some say the post was proof that the 27-year-old is just as smitten with the brunette beauty as she is with him. However, just like AKA and Bonang, we sense some proposal thoughts coming from The Weeknd. P.S: It’s just a thought…
The duo first confirmed their relationship on the image-sharing platform in January, several weeks after they began dating. In a since-deleted video post, the former Disney Channel star captured her musician beau enjoying a boat ride during their trip to Italy. The 24-year-old simply put a heart-eyes emoji in the caption.

The Weeknd (whose real name is Abel Tesfaye) also shared a video of Selena looking at art on his Insta-story. The couple took full advantage of their getaway to Florence, renting out an entire restaurant so that they could dine privately and holding hands while walking through the Accademia Gallery where Michelangelo’s David is located.
As Life & Style previously reported, photos of the pair kissing outside Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica originally surfaced on Jan. 11.
But not everyone’s happy about the duo’s romance, most notably their exes. When asked if he likes the “Starboy” hitmaker’s music, Selena’s former love Justin Bieber responded, “Hell no I can’t listen to a Weeknd song. That s–t’s whack.” A source also told TMZ that the Biebs is convinced the Wizards of Waverly Place alum is just using her new boyfriend for publicity.
