We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced wine sales representative to sell Noble Hill and Bloem wines and Hitachino Nest craft beer in Johannesburg and surrounding areas. You will secure listings at restaurants, shelf placements in wine shops and retailers, and conduct in-store promotions and wine tastings.

The Gauteng salesperson will also be responsible for hiring and direct, hands-on supervision of a Cape Town salesperson and a Gauteng promoter. The position requires hands-on training of junior employees, managing their activities, and reporting to senior management regarding all aspects of the company’s sales organization. Extensive travel in Gauteng and to/from Cape Town will be required.

As Noble Hill has a well-established and growing customer base, your initial efforts will focus on retaining existing customers and cementing existing relationships. Thereafter, you will move to bringing on new business and expanding our sales.

Candidates with existing wine sales knowledge or existing customer relationships will have an advantage in applying.

Schedule and salary:

The position is full-time and requires a daily commitment to visit customers and follow-up as needed. Your schedule will be self-driven however you will be required to record and maintain a certain number of sales activities per week. The position receives a base salary supplemented by a commission on sales. Because we have a large base of existing customers, starting compensation is competitive.

This position involves extensive driving, travel, and visiting of customers. You must be confident and willing to drive extensively each day.
