It has always puzzled us how Pharrell Williams manages to look so handsome and young even at the age of 44 years.
Lucky us, while discussing his AW17 collaboration with Adidas, the award-winning superstar took us out of curiosity zone by sharing his key to keeping his flawless skin at the age of 44.
“I exfoliate like a madman,” Pharrell admitted.
He goes on to say, “When you exfoliate and you drink a lot of water, that does good for you.” Well damn, that’s a pretty easy and inexpensive routine,guys. Sounds sus, though. There is definitely more to this story.
Pharrell continued, “To me, the key is just exfoliating like a monster. There’s a lot of dead skin. All the time. Like a narcissistic madman.” Oh OK, so what he’s saying is he sheds his skin every night. Got it.
The ‘Happy’ singer’s skin always comes up in countless interviews because, honestly, it’s almost unreal. He’s admitted in the past that he drinks a lot of water and uses Cetaphil products to keep his fresh, youthful look, but people still didn’t believe that was it. Personally, I don’t.
The idea that “Black don’t crack” wasn’t a good excuse for Pharrell. In 2014, the media actually accused him of being a vampire because, to the world, he had magically stopped aging.
“No I am not [a vampire],” he said in a statement to Time Out London, continuing with, “I’m willing to go on record as saying that I don’t drink people’s blood.” What are you then, Mr. Williams? We plan on getting to the bottom of this.

Skincare is not Pharrell’s only superhuman quality. He also has perfect style. When asked about his style, Pharrell responded, “It’s indicative of who you are and what you’re feeling. Specifically, the way I look at it, it’s when I get up in the morning, it’s how I feel, it’s where I’m going and what the weather’s going to be like. That kind of informs me of what it is that I’m wearing.”
He added, “When people are like, ‘I don’t really have any style, I don’t dress up,’ you kind of are. That’s what your clothes are saying.”
So there you have it guys, you don’t need to be a vampire to age gracefully, all you need is some extra gallons of water and some exfoliation, lots of it!
