Mihlali Ndamase remains silent on ‘violating’ lockdown regulations for tattoo

Influencer and YouTuber, Mihlali Ndamase, has declined to respond to questions sent by publications about her allegedly violating the regulations of the lockdown by having a tattoo done on Monday.

This whole commotion started when her tattoo artist took to Twitter to show off his work on a video that went viral and Mihlali replied to his message gushing on the Tweet.

The trendsetter has a tattoo of a tiger and it is at the back of her leg. While many were bowled over by the tattoo, some tweeps dragged the artists for not doing a great job on the front paw of the tiger.

Her social media followers came for her after she and the tattoo artist shared that she recently had a tiger tattoo inked on her calf. In response to his video, she thanked the artist, saying she was “so happy”. It’s not too clear whether or not the influencer had her tattoo done at a parlour or if the artist paid her a visit at home. Both are prohibited during the lockdown level 3.

The beauty industry, including tattoo parlours may reopen when SA moves to “advanced level 3″ of lockdown.”  And this is what her followers had to say:
