Oprah Winfrey celebrates Thanksgiving with traditional South African dishes

Oprah Winfrey is a huge fan of South African food. The queen of talk celebrated Thanksgiving with some of the country’s most well-known dishes.

From the main meal to dessert, everything was South African

Chef Raymond Weber cooked bobotie, peri-peri chicken, peri shrimp, bunny chow, samp and beans and yellow rice for the television personality, her partner Stedman Graham and her guests.

Oprah hosted South African girls for the Thanksgiving celebration.

“We had a pre-Thanksgiving feast at our house. South African cuisine ?? to welcome my girls home. And yes there was malva pudding for dessert. All deliciously prepared by Chef @raymond_weber. Thanks for giving my daughter girls a taste of Home,” she wrote on Instagram.
