Most of us have probably come to the conclusion that the life of a rich and famous celebrity is a constant bed of roses. Because, who wouldn’t want to be paid lots and lots of money doing the job they were born to do? Whether it be acting, singing, or simply being famous for ‘being famous’ (Kim Kardashian, we’re looking at you), the allure of the celebrity lifestyle would definitely be too strong for any of us mere mortals to resist.

But is being a celebrity really all that it’s cracked up to be? What about the pressure on you to share your wealth with ‘friends’ and family? How about the constant expectation to repeat and improve upon your last successful performance or creation? And what about the constant hounding from the press and paparazzi, scrambling to get that one vital story or photo that will make them their fortune?

Because, famous people are definitely not immune to having a bad day. And unfortunately for them, their bad days are often displayed for us all to see thanks to the abundance of recording devices they have swarming around them 24/7. This month alone, 3 of our fave celebrities found themselves losing their cool and submitting to anger and violence.. let’s check them out belwo:

Will Smith

Ever heard of someone getting a free will to clap a rock? Sounds absurd, right? But it happened on international television as Will Smith lost his cool at the Oscars and smacked comedian Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife Jada.

Kabza ”de Smack”

Amapiano DJ and producer Kabza de Small is allegedly at the centre of a brawl that took place at a club in Botswana recently. A video of the musician is doing the rounds, showing him at the point of beating up a fan during one of his sets.

The video shows a verbal dispute between an audience member and a man who appears to be a security guard. The fan appears to be standing next to the stage, attempting to take a photo or video of the Asibe Happy DJ as he plays for the crowd. Upon seeing the altercation, Kabza takes off his headphones and angrily approaches the fan.

He is stopped by a few men when he tries to throw hands at the fan.

King ”Monate Pha” Monada

The Limpopo singer has Mzansi likening him to Will Smith after furiously attacking a fan during one of his performances. Although no details were given about the incident, a short video shows a fan grabbing King Monada’s nether regions while he performs. What follows is a very hot slap from the Malwedhe hit-maker.

Clearly Monada is not one to be messed with and this fan found out the hard way.

It appears to be “slap season” around the world, and nobody got the memo except our favourite celebrities.
