South African medical drama telenovela, Durban Gen has reportedly been canceled. The e.tv original production produced by Stained Glass TV Production wasn’t performing well and had to be called off.
Phil Mphela who is known as a digital journalist broke the news on Twitter.
He said the etv telenovela is to air till January 2023.
The news about the TV show got most tweeps excited as they seem to be bored of the storyline.
“Finally, Durban Gen had a potential but yuuu the storyline sucks, the actors are there…. Use them, take them out their comfort zone, give us something to look forward to aybo Durban Gen yangiphoxa maaan,” a tweep wrote.
