Unhappy Kaizer Chiefs fans want Itumeleng Khune back, harsh on ‘inexperienced’ Bruce Bvuma

After suffering to their second loss of the DStv Premiership at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs fans are now calling for goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma’s head.

Some of social media users feel the young goalkeeper is not improving despite learning from Mzansi’s number one, Itumeleng Khune.

The Bafana Bafana netminder conceded four goals against the league champions at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday afternoon and the fans feel he should be dropped as the club’s number one.

Bvuma is now trending on social media where the Glamour Boys say he is to blame for the heavy loss to the Brazilians in a sold out affair.

However, the 27-year-old seems to have some admirers who protected him, saying his defenders let him down and he can’t be singled out for the defeat.

“When Peterson conceded 4 against Royal AM, not once was he blamed, not even once… with Bvuma he’s even blamed for mistakes that aren’t even on him.. it’s unfair.”

“In the current Kaizer Chiefs team, Bruce Bvuma and Siyabonga Ngezana are the third and fourth longest serving players at Kaizer Chiefs. They are hiding behind being development players. Their performances don’t show at all.”

    Dr Arigato said:

“I keep saying Bvuma is not Kaizer Chiefs material We’ll be punished everytime coz of him He is all talk with no skill.”

    Phillix Mokwele said:

“It’s basic knowledge that when you pass the ball back to your goalkeeper, stay in the way of the attacking player where necessary, but Ngezana ran away and left Bvuma to face the on chargeing Sirino. Worst part Ngezana played the ball for Sirino…”

“Zwane loved by supporters but they could turn their back against him soon if he is stubborn. Now Chiefs is in a need of experience Khune not Bvuma. Zwane please listen.”
