“I didn’t mean to”: Woman responds after touching Busta Rhymes’ butt

Busta Rhymes is making headlines after throwing a drink at one excited fan who could not contain her excitement after meeting her idol.

Media reports coupled with a video landing at Entertainment SA’s desk is that the well-known rapper was furious after the lady touched his back.

While the rap legend is known for being unproblematic in the music space, he couldn’t hide his emotions during an encounter with a fan as the incident happened on Monday in Las Vegas.

According to reports, Trevor George Smith Jr. also known as Busta was at the Las Vegas Convention Centre for the MAGIC Fashion Trade Show.

In a video clip sighted by ESA, Busta is seen making an entrance through a small crowd with his team flanking both sides.

Then a woman comes up behind him and quickly grabs his behind and the award-winning rapper swings around, looking visibly upset, and immediately throws his drink.

Identified as Nikita Mathis, she insisted that she didn’t intend to touch Busta inappropriately and was only excited to see the Rap icon.

“I didn’t mean to touch his behind honestly I was just happy to meet him and wanted a pic,” she further said.

“I have been a long-time fan, I admit I shouldn’t have touched him at all but he’s BUSTA I felt like I could possibly get a pic.”

However, the video has left the social media space divided as it reacted to the clip and some argue that she didn’t have to touch the rapper at all.

“I’m glad, people need to learn not to touch people if they don’t invite you to do so.”

“She was lucky it was just a drink. People not in the mood to play all the time.”
