LSU’s Alexis Morris recommends the Tigers celebrate their championship at Michelle Obama’s Home After Jill Biden’s statement

Although first lady Jill Biden indicated interest in bringing Iowa to the White House, LSU guard Alexis Morris had a different notion for how the Tigers could celebrate their national championship triumph.

Morris asked whether LSU might celebrate the program’s first national championship at the Obamas’ home.

“Michelle OBAMA can we (LSU NATIONAL CHAMPS) come celebrate our win at your house ?” Morris tweeted.

“Mrs. Obama made sure we had healthy snacks when I was in middle school, I still eat BAKED HOT CHEETOS ! Come on auntie Michelle,” she added.

Angel Reese was voted the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player after LSU defeated Iowa 102-85 in the championship game. Morris, on the other hand, upped her game and finished with 21 points and nine assists.

She was second on the squad in scoring to Jasmine Carson, who scored five crucial three-pointers off the bench to finish with 22 points.

Morris’ statement about Michelle Obama came after Biden said she would approach the president about inviting Iowa to the White House as well.

“I know we’ll have the champions come to the White House, we always do. So, we hope LSU will come,” she said Monday. “But, you know, I’m going to tell Joe I think Iowa should come, too, because they played such a good game.”
